My interests have always been wide-spread, and even though I have made my peace with the fact that, apparently, I am not able to focus on a single profession alone, I have always had Shakespeare's famous saying hovering over my head: “A jack of all trades is a master of none“. Not a great thing to accept for oneself, obviously. Luckily, I recently learned that this is not the full quote. Instead it reads like this: “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but often times better than a master of one.” Well, I feel much better now.
On those pages, you will find information about some activities that don't seem to fit the other categories on my website. Sure, everything is connected, but I hope this also allows for easier finding the things that you might be interested in. For the moment, this regards firstly my research activites, more precisely research projects and my research related teaching. Also, in the last years, I have taken more and more to curating in the context of concert series and festivals like Morgenkonzerte im Musikwohnhaus Basel or zeit:fluss festival 2025.
It's quite likely that there will be further categories of activities appearing on this page over time. Who knows? More is more...!
